What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, the consent text you agreed to, the page you signed up on, timestamps for sign-up, confirmation and unsubscribe, and a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention.
- Contact form: your name, email, topic and message, plus a record of your consent. Messages are deleted after 12 months.
- Reader polls: anonymous vote counts. A one-way hash of your IP address is kept for 24 hours to limit repeat voting.
- Reading mode: your light/dark choice is stored only in your own browser.
What we never collect
Our forms are not designed for medical histories, test results or genetic information — please don’t send them. Our games run in your browser and do not ask for or store personal health data.
Videos
Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play. At that point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Email delivery
We may use an email service provider to send The Spin Brief. Your address is shared with that provider only to deliver email you asked for.
